Yellow: represents the energy of the sun and fertility.  In the Andean worldview, the sun is revered as a source of life and energy.  It symbolizes abundance and prosperity.

Black: from the indigenous perspective, the color black represents power, depth, mystery and elegance.  There is also honoring forefather who were enslaved.

With all colors and designs, there is a significant and profound relationship with cultural identity, traditions and relationship with the natural and spiritual world.
